Hello, I’m Lynn Archer & crochet is my passion.

I’ve always loved crafting and making things but realised that crochet had become an obsession. Crochet, once considered an old-fashioned pastime, has made a remarkable comeback in recent years. What was once a craft associated with grandmothers making blankets and doilies has now become a trendy and widely embraced hobby. 

Yes, people like me are looking at the un-sustainability of fashion, the plasticity of modern threads and I admit, with a nostalgic eye, I am seeking the benefits of more natural ways of making and wearing. And yet there is a difference now where self-expression is at the top of the agenda. Retro can be chic and people are more supportive of micro industries.

I started with a few toys for friends and family but with experience I have realised people want something a little more sophisticated. Something that shines with creativity but that they can’t produce themselves. My jewellery has proved the most loved and demanded of my creations and it’s just as well because I love making them. There’s never been a better time to share my craft with people who can appreciate the time and effort it takes to hand craft a gift with love.
