Lynn’s Yorkshire crochet cacti!

Have you ever struggled to grow and care for your house cacti? Well here’s the answer. Lynn’s Yorkshire crochet cacti require very little maintenance and last for a very long time. I may not be showing in the Yorkshire Cactus and Succulent Rally (a fabulous day out to round off the real cactus and succulent social calendar which has been an annual occasion for decades) but hey! My version is perfect for yarn enthusiasts as well as cacti connoisseurs.

What I really love about a crochet cactus is that it doesn’t require feeding or watering – or anything else- to survive. Mine are “grown ” in Yorkshire and crochet cacti make great house decorations – they look beautiful on anyone’s sideboard, desk or spare shelf – and make great gifts for friends and family.

But not all cacti are green and spiky. Mine come in a wide variety of different colours and shapes. Some are rounded and some are flat and long-leaved. Crochet cacti not only look great but are also interesting to make.

  • Crochet cacti need no watering!
  • Crochet cacti need no sunshine!
  • Crochet cacti make the perfect gift!

Loving my Yorkshire crochet cacti

As someone who doesn’t live in a desert, I definitely appreciate cacti. In Yorkshire we are more used to cotoneaster, common gorse, broom and bilberry so creating a hot climate plant from scratch is very exciting. My friends and family love these as gifts for their low-light rooms and brighten up a dark space perfectly.
